Scunthorpe road to be closed for 3 weeks
A heavily used road in Scunthorpe is to be closed to traffic for three weeks.
North Lincolnshire Council has made a legal order so work can be carried out on foul and surface water connections to Enderby Road.
The closure of this road on the Riddings estate will run from May 4 to 22 inclusive but may vary due to take account of unforeseen circumstances.
The alternative route for drivers will be via Thoresby Road and Somerby Road.

Proposals are in place to deal with potential safety issues near a Scunthorpe nursery.
North Lincolnshire Council has announced a scheme for the Little Owls Nursery, on Dragonby Road.

Scunthorpe pub to play part in 4G mobile phone upgrade
A Scunthorpe pub is being earmarked as the location for new equipment which will provide 4G mobile phone coverage.
North Lincolnshire Council is now considering an application for a telecommunications installation upgrade and associated works.
The proposed location is the Pied Piper, on Willoughby Road.
Council planners have been told the aim is to upgrade equipment "to facilitate 4G coverage."
The mast will be 15m high.
